THIS WAS THE LAST CONCERT OF JACOB BERNSTEIN(*) AS SOLOIST WITH THE ORCHESTRA. HE DIED IN USA IN MARCH, 1985, AT THE AGE OF 77. Joseph Kaminsky replaced violinist Bronislaw Huberman, who was supposed to play the Beethoven violin concerto. Huberman had a plain accident on the 6th of October and srvived miraculously, but couldn’t play the violin for severl months.
